Sunday 19 November 2017
7.30pm at Orewa Reserve, Auckland
This day is dedicated to remembering the many millions killed or injured in road crashes throughout the world.
It's a special day for their families and communities to pay tribute to the loved ones they've lost and the dedicated emergency crews, police and medical professionals who deal with the traumatic aftermath of road death and injury.
Families who have been affected by road crashes, emergency services workers and support professionals are invited to attend a short memorial event in Orewa including the switching on of the Norfolk Pine tree lights.
